Double Posting Surprise!

Hey look!

... I changed everything.

Interesting title that makes you want to read this.

Do you wanna know the most exciting thing in my life right now? This thing

That's right, I won a contest. I named my dear dear friend Liz's car. I didn't like that sentence, but I'm using it anyway. Once upon a time (ha! that's funny cause it's the name of her blog) she wrote a post about how to turn a word into a link, and I always went searching on her blog to figure it out any time I needed to do it. But I can't find that post anymore, so instead I just discovered that I can just press the button on the top of this ... writing square as I am now referring to it. That's a lot easier. Of course now it's not necessary to go searching through Liz's blog, which is a shame because it's quite good and I like reading over her archives.

But back to my original point, I won the contest and named her car, so now she has a car named Stan and that is exciting and Stan should probably be friends with my car who is called Bruce. I like naming things. A lot. If I have an inanimate object that is important to me, you can bet it has a name. And you can bet that it will probably be Batman related. Attention world: Batman is my favorite. Remember this forever. In fact, my car used to be named Roscoe, but I had it legally changed when I realized that if everything else important to me is named after Batman things, my car should most definitely be named Bruce.

Want to hear some other named things? Ok. My computer is named Alfred (and always will be. Whatever computer I own is named Alfred.) My phone is Harley (Quinn). I named my pillow Harvey. And my iPod is Monty. For those of you racking your brains, no, there is no Monty in Batman (at least none that I can think of), but I'm allowed to break my own rules so deal. Now that I realized I just told you all about how I'm a crazy person who gives inanimate objects names and personalities... we're moving on.

Here's a picture of me that is really embarrassing, but also kind of makes me laugh!
...yup

Remember how I am a primary teacher? Let me remind you. I am a primary teacher. I love it. I am aching to get back to Provo, but I am pretty heartbroken that I can't bring these kiddoes with me. I had a really hard day with them today. Yikes a bee - thanks, Kimberly for letting this rub off on me -they were going crazy. And yet, I still love them so so much. How does that even work? I don't know, but it's wonderful. One of the kids is in the constant state of wanting me to make him a sandwich. Another chewed a hole through a piece of paper today. They're just the best.

My blog is in Times New Roman and I really, really hate it. Like a whole lot. I've been trying to figure out how to change that, but I don't know if I have to change the entire theme or something, so things might change around here. Be prepared.

Well thanks for tuning in to this week's ramblings. I am very much hoping to tell you all something, but I am waiting for the best time and ... more success. Hopefully (cross your fingers) I will be able to tell you on Tuesday. Wish me luck!

p.s. I don't get enough comments for my taste. Fix it!
p.p.s Hey I changed the font! I'm so proud. That was much easier than I thought, now I am ashamed. So overall feeling is proud, but ashamed.

I need to stop watching crime shows.

I can't sleep.

It's because I'm thinking about what I would do if somebody broke into my house and was trying to kill me.

So there's that.

But I tell you what, I'm a survivor ... hypothetically.

Maybe you guys are expecting me to tell you my plan, so you know how genius it is. But that would be so foolish. Then anyone would be able to foil my plot. And those closest to me are aware of my very rational fear of serial killers. So if any serial killers out there also happen to be fans of my blog, I wouldn't want them to be too prepared to face me.

Yeah I need to go to bed.

SYTYCD

Main thoughts from the first All-Star episode of So You Think You Can Dance:

1. Neil Patrick Harris was all about everything I was thinking. Yes, Jess needs to be more sincere and less blech. YES, Tyce Diorio is the worst choreographer! Awesome.

2. I am not a veteran of SYTYCD, so I don't know all the All-Stars, but yay! I love Twitch!

3. Melanie is so beautiful and amazing and my favorite favorite dancer, but during her number all I could think was, "Hello, I am Pasha. Watch my shirt blow in the wind."

4. I love Tadd!

5. I love Marko!

6. I love Bollywood! (Purple shiny pants?)

7. This show is awesome.
